Can I have a room above the garage?
Yes. A room above works well as a home office, gym, studio or store, and can be added to two, three and four bay frames. We'll advise on head height, stairs and building regulations for your layout.
What oak do you use, and will it change colour?
We build with quality structural oak. Fresh oak starts a warm golden colour and naturally silvers to a soft grey over the first year or two as it weathers. That's normal and part of the character, and the frame stays structurally sound throughout.
How long does it take to build?
Most oak framed garages are installed on site within a few days once the groundworks are ready. The full timeline, including design, any planning and foundations, is usually several weeks. We'll give you realistic dates with your quote.
